Due to the contemporary production technologies and high quality materials the woodwork is about to take its place again among the products which guarantee maximum home heat insulation and irreplaceable aesthetic impact.
Materials
The woodwork is made of three-layer high quality softwood. White pine-tree, SIEGENIA casing and SIKKENS lacquers are used. The white pine-tree is very suitable and it is used all over Europe because it is very stable and can be shaped easily. The timber is cleaned from knots, dried up to 7-8% moisture and is treated against pests. All mechanical and structural defects are removed.
Processing and prevention
The profile is pressed and consists of three layers pasted together and supporting each other. This is enabled by the annual rings which are oriented in opposite directions and the purpose is to avoid casting. After being pasted the profile is pressed and impregnated. This procedure increases the woodwork strength and reliability.
1. Main indicators
- Heat insulation with heat transmission effect K=1,1W/m2K (with K-glass)
- Sound insulation of a standard glass unit Rw=32 dB
- Air-proof and water-proof indexes as per the DIN 68121/JV68 standard
2. Coating
There is an increasing tendency towards freedom in creativeness and using of more colors in the design. The woodwork coating is done above all for protection from the damaging influence of the environment. The modern woodwork coatings are a major prerequisite for the preservation of the joinery properties and stability in the course of many years while at the same time they highlight the natural structure and beauty of timber.
3. Outfall
The outfall of the rain water out of the window is performed by two aluminium outfall devices. The first one is located on the window bottom part and it leads away the streaming down the window glass rainwater. The second one is just below the first one and its catch-water is punched for leading away accidentally penetrated water.
4. Ecofriendliness
The woodwork is distinguished for being manufactured from the ecologically cleanest material – timber!
5. Beauty
From an aesthetic point of view there is no other material compared to the stylishness and uniqueness of timber. No other material can resemble the texture and beauty of the natural wood and the unlimited possibilities it gives for combining with the overall vision of interior and exterior design.
